What made you decide to start playing basketball for serious matters? And how old were you?
My father was a coach, that’s why i started to play basketball! He coached my older sister Jelica and i always wanted to be better than her! I was just a 6 year old kid!
Who was or is your role model when it comes to basketball?
I didn’t have it, i just wanted to be the best player and i spent over 10 hours per day on practice. Nobody was gonna stop me.
Name three coaches that made a big impact on you as a player?
My father is the best one for me. My younger sister and me won Gold medal European championship and bronze Olympic medal thanks to my father and mother!
Three qualities that made u exceptional as a player?
First of all i can say a good person, second is someone who have the biggest heart and third is energy for all!!!
What’s your best basketball memory? And your worst?
The best one is when kids love you! My worst bad memory is many but i don’t like to remember that!
Milica,you have been playing basketball for 18 years have you ever thought about quitting your career? And if so you what motivated you to keep going?
I wanted to kill myself because off one couch but quitting was never in my mind! Basketball was all i have…
How did you get over hard moments, that’s the question all young players would like to hear?
That’s easy, you can’t never stop, when it’s the hardest time you must keep practicing, stronger more and more until the end and be proud of yourself!
How important was it for you to put energy and time on individual practice for your development?
That’s the most important thing! You just need to find the right coach for that!
You achieved great results during your career. Can you tell us which medal was your favorite and why?
My favorite medal was the one from the kids, it was a medal with text “ the best person on the world”
