1. How did you get in contact with Basketball Academy?
I live in Denmark, and had heard of Mladen Ljiljanic, when he was coaching in Naestved, and had heard very good things about him.
2. How did it feel to have a coach by yourself?
It felt very good, because the coach is only focusing on you, and can always correct you when your doing something wrong, opposite to the club where the coach will maybe miss something because he has to focus on a lot of other players too, and then you can’t change what you are doing wrong.
3. What can you recommend to other players?
I can recommend to other players to try individual practices, as it is a great way to get better technically, in aspects you are good at, and most importantly learn what you are doing wrong, and how you can improve your weak points.
4. What do you think is important to learn in the game of basketball?
I think it’s important to learn every aspect of the game, so you can take advantage of every situation on the court.
5. Who is your favourite player in the whole world?
My favourite player is Kawhi Leonard, because he is such a good player, both in offense but also in defence, which is probably the most important part of basketball. And he is a very good leader, he is very quiet but leads by example, because of the intensity and energy he puts in the game, the rest of the team will naturally follow.
